Upon Completion of Teen BTW:
- Temporary License: the Teen receives a 180 days temporary Virginia drivers license through SA Driving School Inc.
- Physical License: Within 60-90 days of completion, you will automatically receive your drivers license from the DMV in the mail. Follow up with us if not received after 90 days.
- Please note: SA Driving School Inc submits all Teen License paperwork at the end of each month to the DMV. We are not responsible for any delays caused by DMV License Processing.
- As of 7/15/2024: DMV will NOT process any license documents at any customer service centers. You will received it in your mailbox as noted above.

- CLASSES MIGHT GET CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER.
- IF YOU START THE COURSE AND DO NOT RESPOND TO SA DRIVING FOR 30 DAYS, THEN THE COURSE WILL BE CANCELLED & NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.
Student: Under 18yrs only
- Course Price: $400
- 7 Days Course - Two 50min sessions each day + Road Test.
- Driving, Observation, & Road Test are included in BTW
- This is an assessment course of your driving skills.
- 45hrs minimum training required.
- If the instructor determines you are not ready for this course (1st session), then we will cancel the remaining sessions and you will be charged a $50 fee for the session.
Checklist & Requirements:
- High School DEC Pink Slip / VADETS DEC Card / online Drivers Ed Certificate / in-Person Drivers Ed Ceritficate.
- 45hrs Training Hours Completed (30h Day & 15h Night).
- Learner's Permit + Photocopy of Learner's Permit.
- Learner's Permit is close to 9 Months from issue date.
- $400 Course Fee.

Online Driver's Education Course:
- Course Price: $175
- 30hrs online self paced course + 90mins Parent Teen meeting included.
- Consists of 7 chapters, quiz, & final test.
- Certificate will be issued upon completion.
- Payment will be taken in advanced via online pay.
- After payment, you will receive your User ID and Password to complete the course.
- This is a non-refundable course. We offer this course through an affiliate. Recommend to do Behind the Wheel with us.
Teen BTW Schedule & Information:
- Flexible on weekdays & holidays.
- Preferred start day: Monday.
- Availability before or afterschool.
- If before: Pickup at home > drop at school.
- If after: Pickup at school > drop at home.
- Sessions can be made up.
- Timings will be scheduled day by day.
- Pickup & Drop-off is free (within range).
- Sessions do not have to be consecutive.
- Time of Operation: 7am-7pm (time varies)
- Start date confirmation email sent out within 24hrs.
- Student will be paired with others students.
- Parallel Parking & Highway merging are not part of the course. The instructor will teach at their own discretion.
